CELEBRATE YOUR HARD WORK: ENTER THE 2023 PRSA NEBRASKA PAPER ANVIL AWARDS

Whether you’re part of an agency, an in-house PR team, or the freelancing community, we want to see your entries for the 2023 PRSA Nebraska Paper Anvil Awards! PRSA Nebraska is excited to celebrate the top work in communications, public relations, and advertising over the past year.

If you’re already thinking about entering, I have great news: The entry form is now available for student entries! This is the perfect opportunity for students to submit their work as the 2022-23 academic year comes to a close. Professionals, mark your calendars for when the professional entry form goes live on July 1, 2023.

When your team is moving at record speed to launch a big campaign or bouncing from deadline to deadline, it’s important to step back and look at the amazing things you’ve accomplished in the past year.

Now is a great time to take that step back. What projects filled you with pride in your work? Which tactics made the biggest positive impact on your audience? If you’re a college student wrapping up the Spring semester, think about what projects you’ve accomplished this academic year that you consider to be award worthy.

Here are a few key reminders to get you in the Paper Anvil spirit:

1. Keep the deadlines in mind – If you’re putting the finishing touches on your entries by the end of August, you’ll be in great shape.

2. The Call for Entries Guidelines are your friend – think of it as an instruction manual to learn about what judges are looking for in each entry, which category is the best fit for your project, how to craft a successful program/project summary, and more! Refer to it often as you complete your submission. Any work completed after August 1, 2022 is eligible.
   
   
3. Make the most of each entry – all PRSA Nebraska Paper Anvil categories mirror the PRSA National Silver and Bronze Anvil programs. Why not submit the same materials for national consideration?
   
   
4. Save the date for the gala – award recipients will be honored at the PRSA Nebraska Paper Anvil Gala & Awards Ceremony on December 7, 2023. Keep an eye on PRSA Nebraska’s website, Facebook, and Twitter for more information on the event and securing your seat.
