PRSA Nebraska Member Spotlight: Brandi Long-Frank

On a mission to meet other professionals in the public relations industry, Brandi joined PRSA Nebraska in 2022.  She loves to work on her professional development. She has had the opportunity to grow in her career because of the monthly virtual and in-person events that PRSA Nebraska hosts and her volunteer leadership as the Social Media Chair on PRSA Nebraska’s Board of Directors. Brandi has spent four years in communication and 1.5 years in the public relations industry. Ever since she was a child, she has loved writing and storytelling, which is how she became so enthralled in the industry. That interest expanded when she changed her major to Fashion Merchandising during her undergraduate career and was inspired to move to New York to study fashion.

Her interest in PR sparked while working and interning for print magazines. She was responsible for meeting with various PR agencies when she worked at ELLE Magazine as a Freelance Beauty, Health and Fitness Assistant. Additionally, she was one of the first interns for OprahMag.com (now Oprah Daily) and was the byline author of several articles in 2018. She considers this one of the proudest moments in her career so far.
