    On Brand: A Conference of Outcomes, Not Just Output

    Mark your calendars for July 16.

    This year’s On Brand conference is the experience I needed after finishing graduate school and wondering what to do next. It is the conference I needed when I worked at a global nonprofit and wondered how to tell stories from an inclusive standpoint, or when I worked at Trader Joe’s on a "jarabattical." It is what I needed while working at a professional services firm for over a decade and throughout my most recent "jarabattical" before joining my current employer—all while refining my volunteer and nonprofit board experience.

    As the world continues to change and we are impacted in different ways, I find myself asking: How do I stay true to myself, my passion and my purpose while fueling my desire to learn more? Oh, and how do I continue to learn from others?

    We are building this year’s agenda to answer those very questions. We are curating breakouts for the nonprofit storyteller, the midlevel professional, the recent graduate, the first-time employee and the leader ready to support a new generation. Whether you are navigating a career pivot, a professional transition or seeking to level up in your current role, we will have a track designed for you.

    Our sessions bridge the gap between public relations, communications, brand, marketing and advertising. But most importantly, these sessions are curated for you as a person—honoring the human behind the professional title.

    While we solidify this year’s speakers, here is a look at your day on the Creighton University campus:

    • Share Your Goals: When you sign up, you will have the chance to share your expectations and goals. Whether you are focused on your going for your APR (my APRs follow me) or a specific milestone, you will arrive with a clear purpose because this day is curated for you as a person.
    • Morning Inspiration: Grab breakfast and coffee, browse the sponsor tables and enter a few raffles before the morning keynote kicks off the day with energy, inspiration and two-way communication.
    • Connected Breakouts: The morning breakouts are directly connected to the keynote. You will have the opportunity to sign up for at least two, with the hope of seeing repeated sessions in the afternoon.
    • Lunch and Learning: During the lunch keynote, you might find yourself wishing you sat closer to the microphone because you have so many questions.
    • Afternoon Tracks: The momentum continues after lunch with another round of breakouts. You will have the chance to attend a new session or catch a repeated breakout you missed earlier in the day.
    • Space to Decompress: If the high-energy environment feels overwhelming, we have a quiet room available for you to decompress and process your takeaways.
    • Bringing It All Together: The afternoon keynote connects the threads of the day, turning inspiration into a concrete roadmap. You will leave with the next steps necessary to move beyond simple output and achieve real outcomes for your brand and yourself.

    This is the conference where you learn what is only possible in person. By the time the final session ends, you will already be asking where to sign up for next year.

    Registration is not yet open, but we expect tickets to stay under $200. That price includes your breakfast and lunch to keep you fueled while you learn.
