Angela Roeber of Project Harmony
Angela Roeber has more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience, primarily in the nonprofit sector. As the Chief Communication Officer for Project Harmony Child Advocacy Center, Angela plays a vital role in planning, directing, and coordinating marketing and communication efforts for the organization’s programs, services, events, and campaigns.
Key Achievements:
- Launched the Project Be Someone Campaign in April 2017, earning national recognition—leading to July 21 being officially recognized as National Be Someone Day.
- Invited to present at the National Children's Alliance Leadership Conference in 2018, 2023, and 2024 in Washington, D.C., where she shared insights on building a strong communication foundation, forming key partnerships, and engaging diverse audiences.
- Co-produced the documentary Missing in 2025, which has received strong interest across the country for its powerful storytelling of trafficking survivors and the impact of Project Harmony’s Missing & Anti-Trafficking Youth Services Program.
Angela remains passionate about using strategic communication to amplify Project Harmony’s mission, ensuring that every child has a voice and a safe future.

Chris Sund of Uniti Med
Chris Sund is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Uniti Med and GQR Healthcare, two healthcare staffing companies dedicated to providing staffing services with heart. With nearly a decade of experience in healthcare staffing, he is passionate about leadership and helping others reach their full potential.
Since joining Uniti Med in 2022, Sund has played a key role in the company’s rapid growth, leading a tenfold increase in revenue and earning multiple prestigious awards, including Best Places to Work in Omaha, ClearlyRated’s Best of Staffing, SIA’s Best Staffing Firms to Work For, and the BBB Torch Awards.
Beyond his work at Uniti Med, Sund actively contributes to the industry as a Board Member of NATHO, a member of NAHCR’s membership committee, and a participant in the Greater Omaha Chamber’s Code for CEOs. His leadership and impact were recognized in Midlands Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 in 2023.
Outside of work, Sund enjoys spending time with his wife, a respiratory therapist, and their three sons, who are active in baseball, basketball, track, and cross country.

Sarah Waldman of Girl Scouts
Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska is the largest girl-serving organization in the state with nearly 17,000 members spanning 92 Nebraska counties and Carter Lake, Iowa. Founded in 1912, Girl Scouts builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Girl Scouts explore their strengths, build lifelong friendships and take on new challenges. Supported by adult volunteers, Girl Scouts feel comfortable being themselves, regardless of background or ability, and lead the way as they discover who they want to be and what difference they want to make in the world.
Sarah Waldman, CEO of Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska since October 2021, has over two decades of executive experience, including 18+ years of progressive leadership roles for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska and as Executive Director at the TeamMates Mentoring Program. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Whispering Roots and has served on many boards, including Community Alliance, ICAN, UNO Alumni Association and the Business Ethics Alliance. She is also a Girl Scout Troop Leader and a TeamMates mentor.
Waldman is a 2007 recipient of the Midlands Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Award, graduate of Leadership Omaha Class 29, and a past Co-Chair and Keynote Speaker at the ICAN Women’s Leadership Conference. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha, graduating magna cum laude, and a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Creighton University.
